CPUModule is a Control Strip module that enables and disables CPU speed cycling (a modest power-saving technique) and allows you to set the speed at which the CPU operates (a more substantial power-saving technique). CPUModule works with all Macintosh computers that support these features. At present, this is only the PowerBooks (as far as I know).
You need Apple's Control Strip or Mice & Men's Desktop Strip to use CPUModule. CPUModule 1.0 is free, but not public domain. CPUModule may be distributed freely so long as the README is included and neither file is modified in any way. CPUModule may be included on any CD-ROM, subject to the above restrictions.
